Back from Madeira

Now I am back from a great week on the beautiful island Madeira! I didn’t bring my computer so I haven’t looked at all the photos I shot with the camera yet, so here are some snaps from my phone until later. 🙂 Looking forward on seeing how the photos got. I always find it a bit scary not to bring my computer so I can look at the photos while there. What if there is some setting wrong and all the photos are a bit blurry when I zoom in?? So much that can happen. 🙂

Winter has arrived

I´ve been away for about 10 days and while I was winter arrived here in Arvidsjaur. Can’t say that I love having a ton o clothes on for going on a walk (and be sweaty within 3 seconds if entering a store). But winter it is, not much to to about it but enjoy it. 🙂

On the road

This is what it can look like during a short drive in Lapland. Sunset on one side of the road, and the moon on the other. 🙂

October sunrise

Just found this photo from October. I find it tricky to shoot when the light scenery is like this: Extremely bright in one spot. October sunriseOctober sunrise

Lapland tv

There are several deers sneaking around my parents house since they give them food. The dogs are definitely entertained. Lapland tv at its best 🙂

Puzzle in the window

Something that is quite hard to get is a perfect silhouette. To me it pretty much always happens by accident and not by purpose. Like this one of my lovely cat Puzzle. 🙂

First night at the summer cabin

Since the temperature raised to around 0 yesterday, and the sun was shining, I couldn’t resist going to our summer cabin. For me it is definitely the earliest time in the year I’ve gone there in a long time. I think we celebrated new years there once when I was a kid, but that’s about it. Some iphone pics below. Now I feel recharged for another week. 🙂

Lovely fireplace!
Untouched snow as far as the eye reaches.
Reading corner as it should be.
Tilda – the fire guard. 😀

First sun photo of 2016

Yesterday I got my first photo session in the sun, first of 2016 🙂 Always kind of magic, and this was no exception. Tilda definitely enjoyed running around at the lake in the sun here in Järvträsk, Swedish Lapland.

Photographing bubbles

Sunset captured by bubble blower

My favorite photo of the bubble session.

Yesterday I made my first attempt of shooting bubbles, made by bubble blower. Blowing bubbles is easy, but shooting at the same time was a little … trickier. Also it was harder than I thought to catch them and let them freeze. Lovely patterns appeared when it did though. 🙂 I also will try making really big bubbles (I mean REALLY big). Unfortunately today there is very windy outside, and also pretty warm. Around 0 degrees so no freezing will be done.

New year, new opportunities!

2016. I kind of like the sound of that. It has been an interesting year this one. My first year in Lapland in a long time. Here are some of the many photos that has been taken. 🙂
